Your Goal: Disrupt backlines, create chaos, and survive—never initiate fights.
Focus on Tanks while Yat Jee Chung Kuen is active: Your percentage-based damage scales with enemy max HP, making Vanguards your prime targets.
Don't solo dive: Let your tanks create space. If you solo engage, you will die easily.
Hit-and-Run: Use K’un-Lun Kick (Shift) to escape, and Crane Leap (Space) to position yourself better. Never overcommit.
Parry Discipline: Save Dragon’s Defense (RMB) for critical moments (e.g., countering Ultimates).
After dying, ask: Did I dive at the right time? Did I waste Parry? Blaming teammates won’t improve your gameplay.
Mentality as a DPS
In this section I want to talk about the Mindset and Mentality you need to have as a DPS.
Your most important goal as a DPS is: Deal Damage. I know, I know, you heard it a thousand times. But I really mean it. Your Goal should be "How can I deal the most amount of Damage in the shortest time" (except if you are playing flankers like Black Panther).
If you deal the most amount of Damage you could possibly do, you gain these benefits:
Charge your ult faster
Pressure their Healers a ton
Give your own Team more breathing room, because their team will be more cautious and will have less space
Always ask yourself after every Death, what you could have done differently. Its easier to blame the team, but you won't get better like that.
Summary: Deal Damage
IF you could get more value with another hero, swap your hero. E.g. You are Moon Knight, they run dive to counter you and you are dying over and over again. Make the swap to Namor (counters dive, especially with Luna) and get that free elo

Tips
Use Your E before any engage
If you get a kill, and you are full health, Chi absorption becomes bonus health. Which means keep going, but dont overextend
Wallrunning is faster than walking on the ground
You want to engage with Bonus health and all cooldowns up
Use your parry before ulting, since the ult resets the parry
Your shift deals more damage on targets below 50%
After using parry (rmb) your fists (lmb) deals max HP % damage. Its insane for Vanguards killing
Use at full Rage for maximum burst (10% max HP + 0.3% per Rage). Aim to knock the tank into the backline for maxiumum damage.
